| Dallas Shambhala Meditation Center Membership Mailing address 10434 Solta Dr. , Dallas, TX 75218 Becoming a member of the Dallas Shambhala Meditation Center is a statement about your personal inspiration, curiosity, and commitment to the path of awakening. It means participating in a community of practitioners who aspire to relate to each other with honesty, warmth, and openness. We inspire one another to deepen our practice of mindfulness, awareness and compassion. We also provide each other an opportunity to practice compassion and patience. Membership is a commitment to meditation practice, dharma study, and to become involved in the activities at the Shambhala Meditation Center of Dallas. Members become a crucial part of the financial and volunteer support of the center. Without our community's financial and volunteer support, the Dallas Shambhala Meditation Center could not offer all of the wonderful things that we do. It is because of our members that the profound tradition of meditation has been able to survive and flourish. Payment of membership dues is the financial backbone of our Shambhala centers. Volunteer work is how we are able to offer programs and services. Requirements for membership: 1. A commitment to personal practice of at least 3 months. 2. A commitment to participate in center activities, committees and programs. 3. Willingness to participate in the financial well being of the Center by paying monthly dues. Your contribution will assist in the ongoing expenses of rent, visiting teachers, Shambhala Training, Shambhala Buddhist and Shambhala Arts programs, training materials and the support of our Regional Acharya Moh Hardin. Benefits of membership at less than $40 per month: a Shambhala membership pin. Benefits of membership at $40 per month (and any amount greater would be of service to our Center): a Shambhala membership pin plus a one year subscription to Shambhala Sun Magazine.
