About Us The Dallas Shambhala Meditation Center has been a vibrant community in the Dallas area since 1997. We offer a weekly Open House on Tuesday nights at the First Unitarian Church of Dallas. Weekend meditation and contemplative arts workshops are offered throughout the year. Our weekend programs are held at the South Side on Lamar complex in downtown Dallas. In addition to educational programming we host social events to celebrate community. Pot luck dinners and dharma movie nights are held in various members' homes through out the year.
